Liu Bingsen (August 17,1937 -- February 15,2005) , born in Wuqing, Tianjin, is a famous Chinese calligrapher. Born in Shanghai in 1937, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Beijing Academy of Art in 1962, Chinese Painting Landscape Department, after 1962 as The Palace Museum Assistant Technician, assistant researcher, Associate Research Librarian, research librarian, enjoy a special allowance from the government. He has served on the standing committee of the all-china Youth Federation, member of the twenty-one th century committee of China-japan friendship, vice-chairman of the Chinese Federation of Literature and culture, vice-chairman of the Overseas Chinese Association, and vice-chairman of the Chinese Calligrphers Association. Members of the seventh term and the eighth, ninth and tenth terms of the standing committee of the The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. On February 15,2005, he died in Beijing at the age of 67 at 4 am after failing to respond to treatment for lung cancer.
