Violet is a very good ornamental flower. It has a beautiful flower shape when it blooms, and its flowers are mostly purple and fuchsia. It is bright and beautiful. The flowers grow luxuriantly and have a large amount of flowers. It is a popular flower for viewing in parks, courtyards and other places.
Violets like a warm and humid environment, and there are few flower diseases and insect pests, which is very worry-free.
The suitable temperature for germination of violet seeds is 15 to 25 degrees. The soil requirements for violets are not very high. It is advisable to use fertile, moist, well-drained soil to provide them with a suitable growth environment.
The planting time of violets is generally from mid-August to early October, but it can be adjusted according to the time spent. If you want flowers in May, plant them in February, and in June, plant them in March. But if you plant in July, you need to wait until February of the following year to bloom.
Violets are generally propagated by seed. Place the seeds in moist potting soil, cover with a layer of fine soil, and place in a cool place. Do not water immediately after planting. If the pot soil is dry, you can soak the bottom of the flower pot with water, or use a watering can to sprinkle water on the soil surface. Before the true leaves unfold, you need to transplant, pull out the seedlings, keep the soil ball on it, and don't hurt the roots. After that, animal manure is added to the pot as base fertilizer. After planting and filling, water is permeated, and it can be placed in a shaded place. After survival, move it to a sunny position.
1. Watering: Water enough in the seedling stage. Water every other day and keep the soil moist. But be sure to avoid stagnant water, and if you water too much, drain it in time.
2. Fertilization: In the seedling stage, apply liquid fertilizer every 10 days, but the amount should not be too much, which will help the growth and will not hurt the rhizomes.
3. Picking buds: Start picking buds two months after planting. Keep 6 or 7 true leaves, and then remove the terminal buds. Keep 3-4 branches on the side branches, and remove the others as well.
